As a passionate and long-time practitioner of art and literature, I am on a constant search for ways to be creative and expressive. As a fated member of Generation Y, I spent youth growing up behind a computer and now possess that inherent techno-knowledge found in almost every twenty-something alive today. I've found that often in life these two aspects will find themselves face-to-face with one another. So when Sensei Stiltner and Sensei Stiltner-Murr asked me to take the reigns as webmaster of the Toku-Kai webpage, I leapt at the opportunity.
While I have been a visual artist my entire life, I have been a student of literature and philosophy as well as an avid fiction writer for almost ten years. I have published a number of short works of fiction in various short-story publications, served in professional writers' workshops, and volunteer annually with local literacy councils to help children and adults with reading and writing. Aside from reading and writing, I also do independent photography. I am currently not available for any other independent service for web design or other digital media.
I currently reside in Rockford and am a student of Toku-Ryu.
